About The Event

Kangatraining is a complete workout during which both cardiovascular endurance/flexibility and muscular capacity/strength are enhanced. Unlike traditional exercise classes, new mums need not worry about finding a babysitter or minding an unsettled baby during class because the babies are worn on them and get to be part of the action! As well as the physical benefits, the opportunity to meet other local mums in a fun, relaxed environment boosts their emotional wellbeing. Your class will be taught by NZ head trainer Sherylee, who teaches here in west Auckland. Although Kangatraining is designed to help heal and strengthen the postpartum body all members of the family are welcome.

Come join us for a Kangatraining class with Country Leader Sherylee. Kangatraining is a pelvic floor safe postnatal exercise program where you wear your baby in an approved carrier (carriers will be provided if required). Mums can join Kangatraining from 6 weeks postpartum for a natural birth and 12 weeks postpartum for a c-section, Dads and other family members are also welcome. Registration is essential to ensure we have enough equipment to go around.
