Our working bee on Sunday was a perfect mix of sun, rain flowers and dirt. We planted new cosmos seedlings, sunflowers, coreopsis and delphiniums. Admired the poppies that just keep popping. Crossed over into full witch mode when we activated our first Japanese Indigo dye vat recently 🌱💙 Had such a beautiful day testing our fermentation process on friends and whānau at our new wānanga space in Grey Lynn. Char and I have drawn up a final map of Ngakinga and ordered more mulch and soil for delivery early Sunday morning. Sunday at Ngakinga was all about the wai. As we create the space we need to build in systems to water during the hot months.
